27!
27?! Yikes.
I think this is an all-time high for me. As much as I love TV (and that's a lot) I know not all of these shows will last. Basically because I don't have the time nor the DVR space to allow it.
Here are the new ones I'm trying out and am thinking/hoping will make the cut:
Community- Thursdays on NBC
The Good Wife- Tuesdays on CBS
Cougar Town- Wednesdays on ABC
Modern Family- Wednesdays on ABC
Glee- Wednesdays on FOX
I'm super pumped about theses. The most anticipation might be for Community. Joel McHale and Chevy Chase?! Yes, please. Also, Cougar Town is from Bill Lawrence, the same genius who brought us Scrubs so that seems really promising. And Glee has already made the cut! I can't wait to see more jazz hands!
Here are the new ones I'm trying out but am thinking they could easily get left behind:
The Vampire Diaries- Thursdays on CW (I just love Vampires so much)
The Beautiful Life- Wednesdays on CW (I admit this sounds ridiculous, but I just want to watch an episode or two to see if Mischa Barton's acting classes did her any good)
Eastwick- Wednesdays on ABC
Mercy- Wednesdays on NBC
Flash Forward- Thursdays on ABC (Thursdays are going to be a SERIOUS problem for me)
Trauma- Mondays on NBC
Three Rivers- Sundays on CBS
V- Tuesdays on ABC
Now, I don't know much about any of these shows. Just a few I've seen commercials for and others have a lot of hype so naturally they're in my lineup. But who really needs to watch three medical dramas (NOT including Greys)?
And finally, these are the ol' standbys that I can't get rid of.. ever:
Project Runway-Thursdays on Lifetime
Fringe- Thursdays on FOX (Why did it have to move to Thursdays?!)
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia- Thursdays on FX (hehehe)
The Office- Thursdays on NBC
Parks and Recreation- Thursdays on NBC
SNL Weekend Update- Thursdays on NBC
I'm really tired of typing Thursday..
House- Mondays on FOX
Grey's Anatomy- Thursdays on ABC
SNL- Saturdays on NBC
The Amazing Race- Sundays on CBS
Brothers & Sisters- Sundays on ABC
Desperate Housewives- Sundays on ABC
30 Rock- Thursdays on NBC
This really is overwhelming.
And I Just realized I have my mid-season replacements:
Chuck- Mondays(?) on NBC
Scrubs version 2.0- ?? on ABC
Better Off Ted- Wednesdays on ABc
and eventually Friday Night Lights- Fridays(?) on NBC
There's got to be something else I'm missing..
I've officially lost count of how many hours of my life this schedule consumes. And while typing this sentence I remembered LOST will be back in January/February. AHHHHHH!
I love Fall.

Molly, I believe we are soul mates. I have all of my shows in my iCal. I counted 32 shows that I am going to be "trying out". That includes my standards and the newbies. I've been cleaning off my DVR, getting rid of the pesky summer shows that are still hanging around (although, I've really gotten attached to 10 Things I Hate About You!)
Okay, nerd alert over. Let's talk about this in real life.
You definitely need a spreadsheet!!
I am stressed out for you! How are you even going to find the time to try these out. I think I'm going to re-evaluate my list now...
At one point I thought about getting a comcast DVR and rigging my tivo up to a tv in my bedroom. then I thought that might be a little overboard. if I miss a show I miss a show. sad. I'll figure something out!
